Why is Project 314 and Project Betzalel Important?
Nearly 3500 years ago, God performed a miraculous work, liberating the nation of Israel from the yoke of Egyptian bondage. According to the Exodus text, both the mandate and the reason for Israel's liberation was made plain and clear. Speaking on God's behalf, Moses explained to Pharaoh, "Let my people go, so that they may hold a festival to me in the desert." While Pharaoh did not consent, God's plans would not go unfulfilled.
After the ancient world power was decimated by ten deadly plagues of "biblical proportions", Moses and Israel were free to travel to Mount Sinai where they received the Ten Commandments. But that's not all that happened there; for at Sinai, Moses also received blueprints for a holy tent known as the Mishcan or "Tabernacle". While the ancient structure was used heavily in conjunction with festival observation, it was intended to do much more. According to Bible texts, the special Tabernacle building was made to house the Ark of the Covenant - which contained the very word of God, but more importantly, it was to host the very presence of God himself! This Tabernacle was a special building; a building not only built for God, but also designed by God!
While artists and scholars have combed through Bible texts for centuries looking for insight about this peculiar tent, most commentary and models or renderings are predicated on a single but erroneous assumption: that the Tabernacle structure assumes a rectangular floor plan. Unlike preexisting Tabernacle research, however, Project Betzalel and Project 314 are unique in Tabernacle research as they reveal how the PI constant has been encoded in the Bible texts, and how the geometric constant suggests a ROUND structure! To that end, and in accordance with our mission statement, Project 314 is dedicated to restoring and revealing the ancient Exodus Tabernacle design.
Given its divine origin, understanding Israel's ancient Exodus Tabernacle in its true form will probably come to be recognized as one of the greatest Bible discoveries in our lifetime - capable of transforming not only religious hemispheres, but thoughts residing in scientific realms as well. Project 314 will help you learn:
How to Understand God.
Betzalel tells us about a house designed "in the image of God". If God gave Israel the designs to a house that is "made in his image", it stands to reason that we will learn about the attributes of God as we study God's dwelling place.
How to Understand Man.
Genesis says that God made man "in his image". If God's house is made in God's image, and man is made in God's image, it stands to reason that we can learn more about the nature of man as we study God's dwelling place.
How to Understand Heaven.
Psalms 104:2 says that God "stretches out the heavens like a tent". The Tabernacle is the "tent of tents", thus the Exodus Tabernacle provides unique insights on the cosmos.
How to Understand Nature.
Patterns shown in the earthly Exodus Tabernacle uniquly coincide with patterns shown in nature.
How to Understand Prophecy.
The shape of the Tabernacle, along with its component placement and material quantities, all testify to future events.
How to Understand the Bible.
The pattern revealed in the Exodus Tabernacle provides insights on many other Scriptures, challenging a host of traditional interpretations and assumptions.
As the name conveys, there are many facets to Project 314. Each facet reveals an image. Each facet brilliantly radiates light, and offers meaning and divine revelation.
